Newsletter Issue No. 5  August 6, 2011
Hello everyone. It's been a couple of month's since my last newsletter. Can't believe how fast time does go by. The summer is going to be gone in just a few more weeks. A lot of my time lately has been taken up with duites of the expansion of the Eloquent Light Photography Workshops, writing some articles for the new Light Readings Blog of Eloquent Light, and still trying to get out and produce new work. On top of that, my regular job and the dreaded thinning of belongings to make the move to Santa Fe within the next few months.
With this newsletter, I thought I would start to make available some older images on a limited basis. The image below: "Sunrise - Mesa Verde National Park", was taken back in September, 2006. For those of you unfamiliar with Mesa Verde, it is in the southwest corner of Colorado, east of Cortez, along the road to Durango, CO. Besides just a beautiful area, the park surrounds hundreds of Anazazi ruins and cliff dwellings. It really is a place you should try to visit. I think it could change your perspective of life. It did mine!!
I am offering this image on a limited issue of 10 prints for $125 each. Each print is 12" x 22" in size, and will be printed on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl photo paper, signed and numbered. The roll tube shipping is included in the price, but if you are in California, I will have to charge the tax. Sorry!

If you have any questions, please give me a call at the studio at (760) 518-1530, or you can email me at steven@stevenbundy.com

Introducing this Month: White Sands Photo Workshop

In this dynamic workshop, you will explore the vivid terrain of White Sands National Monument and the City of Rocks in southern New Mexico with Craig Varjabedian. You will experience the state's legendary allure, from the soothing rhythm of rolling sand dunes to the stark beauty of unique rock formations. The harsh dichotomy of earth and sky makes the beauty of New Mexico a unique treasure, and we will discover it in secret hideaways and forgotten vistas.
The unique challenges of this workshop will be in capturing the intense beauty in the southern part of the state, where the high-low contrast makes for a more attenuated beauty than in other regions. The intrepid photographer will be rewarded with indelible images of dream-like scenes and lost eras when a different aesthetic prevailed. You will spend two days at each site (White Sands and the City of Rocks), photographing the unique environment in an atmosphere of adventure, exploration, and discovery.
This is a shooting intensive workshop, with Craig providing hands-on one-on-one guidance in the field as needed. Whether you are pointing your camera at a magnificent rock formation or capturing the dynamic weather that is common here, you'll have many opportunities to make great photographs.
If you are interested in this workshop, there are two spaces left. Either go the Eloquent Light Photography Workshops web page or call Cindy Lane at the studio at (505) 983-2934
